our director and regional overseers

Redemption Fellowship is a spiritual covering for ministers and their families. Our Goal is to provide a relational fellowship to assist in the growth of personal and leadership development through impartation, resourcing, mentoring, accountability, and restoration. With the importance of a personal touch and the growth of the Fellowship, Pastor Ron has appointed a global Director and multiple overseers to support and serve our Redemption Fellowship members all over the world.

pastor ron carpenter | rf founder

Recognized as a leader of leaders, Ron has advised, consulted, and mentored CEOs, pastors, and political leaders around the world for over two decades. As a Senior Pastor and successful entrepreneur, with multiple business ventures, Ron’s relentless passion for developing potential in others permeates every aspect of his ministry. With his passion for breaking down the walls of racism, crossing cultural lines, changing poverty mindsets in their community and around the world, Ron founded Redemption in 1991 with his wife Hope and three church members.

After 30 Years in Greenville, SC, Redemption Church relocated its headquarters to San Jose, CA in May of 2018. Redemption took over Jubilee Christian Center of San Jose, formerly pastored by Dick Bernal. Who after 38 years of pastoring retired, naming Pastor Ron his successor. On December 31, 2020, Redemption relaunched its East Coast campus in Greenville, SC. Above all, Ron is a devoted family man, whose greatest loves are his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Overseers serve as an extension of Redemption Fellowship’s leadership, providing spiritual support, connection, and guidance to members within their region. They help foster community, strengthen leaders, and serve as a first line of communication—offering encouragement, answering questions, and helping navigate challenges. Overseers are expected to actively engage with members, support Fellowship initiatives, and model strong, Kingdom-centered leadership. Through their role, they help advance the vision by building healthy relationships and empowering leaders to grow and thrive.
